Introducing the Auto Gear Prints Porsche Cayenne Build
As we move on from our 957 Cayenne Turbo off-road build, we’re starting a new chapter with Porsche’s newer 9Y0 Cayenne S platform. This time, we’re taking everything we loved about the previous build and creating a cleaner, more modern take on an off-road Cayenne.
The goal with this build is to combine the comfort and performance of the Cayenne with a more aggressive, adventure-focused setup—without losing the clean look that makes the Cayenne what it is. Over the coming months, we’ll be transforming it piece by piece, documenting the process, testing the parts, and sharing everything here.
The current plan includes a 2-inch Eurowise lift kit, 18-inch Vossen bronze wheels wrapped in 32.5-inch Nitto Ridge Grapplers, a Eurowise full front bumper, and a full tubular rear bumper. Together, these changes should completely transform the stance and capability of the Cayenne while giving it a much more rugged appearance.
And, of course, this wouldn’t be an Auto Gear Prints build without some 3D scanning, designing, prototyping, and printing along the way. As we come across OEM components that could use a redesign, replacement, or improvement, we’ll explore developing our own solutions—and hopefully turn a few of them into products for you guys along the way.
And that’s only the starting point.
We’ll be documenting the entire build here from installation and fitment to what works, what doesn’t, and what we learn along the way.
This is just the beginning.
Coming Soon.
